Weekly Updates
Great job by Graham in setting another National Record in the 200 Free!
Congratulations to ALL our Senior Games swimmers. We had a great team turnout!!! Many of them competed in both Zones and the SG in back to back weekends. They earned their rest this past holiday weekend! I certainly took advantage of sleeping in…
Setting new Senior Games Records were:
Colleen Holloway, Georgia Goggin, JC Wood, Henry Halff, Graham Johnston, Jerry Marchbanks, Connie Lindsey, David Nordstrom, Betty Kight, Deb Starr, Chris Mayhew, and Sara Sievert.
Many thanks to Elaine Fincham for opening up her home for our team party directly afterwards. We had a great turnout and was nice to visit with so many of our out of town swimmers who made the trip into SA.
If you swam on a relay at Zones, and did not have a chance to pay the entry fee for those, each swimmer owes $2.50 for the ones that they swam on. Many thanks to Chrystie for collecting for me at the meet.

Click here for info on a Masters and Special Olympic Athletes meet in Midland, Texas. I think it sounds like a great opportunity for both groups to compete together. Deadline for entries is April 13.
Starting this Friday, and Fridays only, for the rest of the summer we will go LCM at Blossom at Noon.
The 2007 Duel in the Pool (USA vs Australia) which was just completed in Sydney will air in the USA on NBC Saturday, April 21 from 2-3 p.m. (EST), and Sunday, April 22 from 4-6 p.m. (EST). Michael Phelps and lots of other recognizable names involved…
Best of luck to all our Arizona IronMan athletes this coming Sunday. They have all worked hard, and I know are so happy and excited to have this day finally here.
John Leonard bids us goodbye and is now off to Houston. He plans to stay in touch and I KNOW he plans on swimming the 10 K swim this year. Best of luck to him and his family. We hope to meet up again at summer LCM Nationals at the Woodlands.
Todd Erickson is recovering well from his knee replacement surgery. He writes that he plans on hitting the water as soon as the incision heals up, and he sends thanks to all who were thinking of him. (Whatever!)
If you missed our Passover Holiday workout…your loss! So sorry to hear you missed out on all the fun. But, have no fear, I am always up to making the time go by faster at practice. Now let me see, what’s next on the calendar? Hummm, Friday the 13th……I wonder what I could do with that one?
