Nationals - Saturday
100 IM Carl 9th, Jane 4th, Betty 7th
After this event, Betty became ill and had to be attended by the medical staff at the meet. They performed a stress test, because she was having a hard time catching her breath. She was later taken to the emergency room and the preliminary thoughts are that she has cardio-bacterial disease. Very scary sounding. We will keep everyone posted on her progress.
50 Back Kay 5th, Shelly 8th, Georgia 2nd
100 Free Carl 8th, Jane 2nd, Kay 4th, Georgia 3rd, Graham 1st
Now, Kay was experiencing some Verdigo and had was having some trouble standing on the blocks.
200 Breast Georgia 1st
500 Free Jane 1st
W 65+ 200 Medley Relay 2nd
Fortunately, Kay is a Backstroker, so started in the water. With Betty out of the meet, Georgia filled in and the other ladies switched up stroke legs. Georgia left on the Free leg in 3rd place and out swam another team to bring MOST up into 2nd. Way to go Ladies! Great job in stepping up and doing what’s needed to make it all work in a total team effort.

200 IM Graham 1st
50 Fly Carl 6th, Jane 5th
100 Breast Carl 10th, Shelly 5th
The total team overall standings have not been posted, but the
women finished 2nd for small teams of rosters 10 and under.
