This Wednesday is a no miss workout. Our World Famous, Internationally Acclaimed, Nationally Recognized, and Award Winning “Wicked Workout” will be Back!
For those who are planning on going to Perth, Australia for Worlds in April 2008. You can book flights at a discount until Oct 31. Save close to $500, with a deposit only, needed until Dec 31. ($1600 out of LAX) This invite is for both swimmers and polo players. I have already taken care of accommodations for the first 30 people who sign up ($60 per night/person for ocean/harbor views with kitchen)! and local transportation. If you wish to go out and see other sites, you will have to make those arrangements. My personal plans are to fly through Singapore, spend a day, then continue on to Perth. I am staying an extra 3 days beyond the swim meet.
If you did not participate in our challenge set last week, please do it on your own, or at the next workout and report results back to me. 16 (or 13 or 10) x 100’s on the fastest interval you think you can hold. Go as long as you make the interval, then add :05 to your interval and continue on. As is an example, you can make 5 x 100 @ 1:40, then have to go to 1:45 of which you make 5 more, but then have to go to 1:50 for the last 6. Push yourself to make as many as you can, even with 4 seconds rest. Our strongest swim group was doing them at 16 @ 1:30, next level of swimmers could push themselves on 13 @ 1:45 or 1:50, with our last group starting with 10 @ 2:20. (All meter times.) Choose your own challenge. We will be posting results next week.
